List of all weapons in Ravenfield.
This page only lists equip-able weapons and equipment. For a list of Turrets / Emplacements, see here.
Overview[]
Weapons are equip-able to the player's loadout, and consist of small-arms, portable Anti-Armor, explosives, melee weapons, and miscellaneous usable equipment besides that. With the notable exception of a few pieces of equipment, all weapons share the same control schemes and general functionality: aim, zoom, fire/use, reload, resupply. Firing a weapon while prone will sharply decrease its recoil.
Ammunition for weapons may be collected from Resupply Crates, Ammo Bags, or by kicking a bot's corpse and collecting the disgorged ammo crate. Some weapons cannot be resupplied.
Damage Mechanics[]
- All weapons deal damage to infantry in 2 areas: damage to health and damage to balance. When a weapon knocks an infantry unit's balance down to 0, the unit will trip and fall.
- All weapons deal in 3 different types of health damage, sometimes in 2 at once:
- Direct damage occurs with any projectile striking a footman or vehicle. Depending on the region of the body / vehicle struck, a projectile may deal variable damage.
- Explosive damage occurs with any target caught in a blast radius. Damage is dealt based on proximity, and individual body sections do not alter damage received.
- Melee damage occurs to any unit caught in a melee weapon attack. Damage is not variable.
Weapon Subcategories:[]
Note that these categories are simply those given to the Vanilla weapons in the game, and are not strictly binding in nature. Modded weapons may or may not attempt to conform to these standards, and are likewise free to invent their own classes depending on the theme (such as "WWII", "Medieval," or "Star Wars" for example.)

Trivia[]
- Despite being from different warring factions, both Eagles and Ravens have access to the same pool of weapons by default.
- All player weapons render on a layer above the rest of the world, meaning that their models can never pass trough or interact with the environment or other objects.
- However, this was not always so, and early Betas have the gun freely passing through fences and walls that the player may be pressed up against. It was even possible to fire through walls in this manner, something that is no longer possible due to a hitscan failsafe created alongside the render change.
